Other: After being ordained at Williamstown, VT., Nov. 1, 1837, he took a four months overland journey to Oregon, where labored 5 years before arriving in Hawaii. Upon his return to the U.S. he was released on Aug. 11, 1846, and engaged in pastoral work in Mass, and Conn.
